Dissolved Oxygen Sensor (499ADO)
The Model 499ADO sensor is designed for the continuous determination of dissolved oxygen in water in the range 0 to 20 ppm. The primary application is aeration basins in municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants. The sensor can also be used to measure dissolved oxygen in aquaculture ponds.

Dissolved Oxygen Sensor - Trace DO (499ATrDO)
The 499A TrDO is a membrane-covered amperometric sensor. The sensor consists of a gas-permeable Teflon² membrane stretched tightly over a gold cathode. A silver anode and an electrolyte solution complete the internal circuit. During operation, oxygen diffuses from the sample through the membrane to the cathode. A polarizing voltage applied to the cathode converts all the oxygen entering the sensor to hydroxide ions. The reaction produces a current between the cathode and the anode, which the analyzer measures. The current is directly proportional to the rate at which oxygen reaches the cathode, which is ultimately proportional to the concentration of oxygen in the sample.

Dissolved Oxygen Measuring System (DO)
The Model DO-03/04 is a complete system for the determination of dissolved oxygen in wastewater aeration basins. It consists of a sensor, an analyzer, a handrail mounting assembly, a sensor washer head, and an air compressor. A timer in the analyzer allows the user to customize the air blast cleaning cycle.

Dissolved Oxygen Sensor (430)
The Rosemount Analytical Model 430 Dissolved Oxygen Sensor, used with the Model 1181 Dissolved Oxygen Analyzer, measure oxygen levels in a variety of applications. The most widely used application is the secondary phase of the waste treatment process where a critical dissolved oxygen level must be maintained for the digestive process to occur. Other applications include water quality monitoring in natural bodies of water such as rivers and streams, or any location where adequate oxygen content is important to sustain aquatic life.

Dissolved Oxygen Sensor - ppb (Bx438)
The Model Bx438 sensor is designed to monitor trace levels of dissolved oxygen in beer and other carbonated beverages. The Bx438 sensor utilizes a robust membrane, which increases the life of the membrane. The sensor is designed to withstand significantly more clean in place (CIP) cycles than other dissolved oxygen sensors.

Emerson Process Management, Rosemount Analytical, sterilizable dissolved oxygen sensors are designed to exceed industry standards. Other dissolved oxygen sensors used for biopharmaceutical applications have less reliable performance and high maintenance requirements, resulting in high costs and/or short sensor life. The Rosemount Analytical Model Hx438 and Gx448 sensors are a result of many years of experience in sensor manufacturing and have resolved these problems.

The Model 5081 family of transmitters can be used to measure pH, ORP, conductivity (using either contacting or toroidal sensors), resistivity, oxygen (ppm and ppb level), free chlorine, total chlorine, and ozone in a variety of process liquids. The 5081 is compatible with most Rosemount Analytical sensors. See the Specification sections for details.

Amperometric HART Analyzer (54eA)
The Model 54eA Analyzer/Controller with the appropriate sensor monitors and controls dissolved oxygen (ppm and ppb level), free chlorine, total chlorine, and ozone in a variety of process liquids. The analyzer is compatible with Rosemount Analytical series 499A amperometric sensors for oxygen, chlorine, and ozone; and with Hx438 and Gx448 steam sterilizable oxygen sensors.

HandRail Mounting System (HRMS)
The Model HRMS-01 and HRMS-02 is a compete system for mounting a Dissolved Oxygen (DO) sensor Model 499ADO to a handrail. It consists of a swivel/pivot bracket, and maintenance bracket. The unique swivel/pivot pipe clamp assembly allows easy sensor removal from the process by swinging the pipe boom up and over to the handrail for maintenance. The sensor maintenance bracket allows the pipe boom to be supported in a fixed position while performing maintenance and calibration on the sensor.

Floating Ball System for 1 1/2" PVC pipe boom (BB11)
The Floating Ball System is a flotation device designed to mount the Dissolved Oxygen (DO) sensor Model 499ADO, and keep the sensor at a fixed distance in the process, regardless of changes in height of the process. Reliable DO monitoring can now be accomplished by attaching the DO sensor Model 499ADO to the Floating Ball Model BB11.
