A hand-held calibrator or PC running blackbox ultra is required to program blackbox units with no on-board display. For Ultra units, software is an option, but one which allows pre-programming of a unit off site. It also allows diagnostic functions on-site, such as the opportunity to view echo profiles and signal strength, particularly important when considering solids applications. |
